I can pretty much assure you that each of those guns was signed for. Pity the poor American soldier who turned them over without a signature by a "responsible" recipient. Where they got lost, I can almost guarantee, is from some Iraqi who issued them without any accountable records.

Nothing is perfect, although I agree the bookkeeping should be much better than it currently is...

To correct your previous comment, I never said we should "stay the course," I said we should stay on offense... big difference... certainly staying on offense also allows for differing strategies and courses, but we certainly should not "just come home," as Ron Paul suggests, that would be complete idiocy...
