that's a good question- this is one investment of many. the most that I can lose on it is what I put into it. Also most of my investments do not have dividends that would be required to offset the interest costs of financing them if I went on margin. While RAS might be leveraged presumably their cash flow is well in excess of the financing costs or they would not be able to pay dividends. As to it being the height of the credit bubble, that can be readily seen with 20/20 hindsight.
Perhaps they are on the precipice of many such defaults such as ahm. I don't know.
