If you contrast the 12 million illegals with the 2 million people now in prison in the US, you have to wonder where we would put the illegals after we arrested them and they were waiting for a bus back over the border. Not to mention finding the buses and guards to do the job. And the fact that Mexico probably wouldn't accept that volume of illegals returned all at once. And the economic and social disruption that the roundups would cause. How many tens of thousands of US-born kids and babies can we foster when their whole family is shipped back? No matter how you slice it, mass deportations aren't going to happen. They are a fantasy.
