(But, when large chunks of a political candidate's immediate family refuse to support his bid for office... that *is* a bit 'unusual' in American politics.)

Guess that's the statistical risk that is created with multiple divorces, messy break-ups, public allegations of infidelity and 'ignoring the children' though. <g>

(The 'brave new wave' of politics in the future, as divorces and blended families become commonplace?)
