re: War is war During WW2, a whole bunch of your everyday products would be rationed. You would have a "victory garden" which would help supply 40% of the vegetables and fruits for the country. You would probably be working in some defense related industry if you were not in the armed services. You couldn't even buy tires for your car. In the War on Terror every time you fill up your gas pig SUV you are funding "the enemy". Like sending a check to Hitler every week. You are not asked to sacrifice at all; just enjoy your tax cut. No buddy, "war isn't war".
