Oh,yeah? Check the staple prices. Especially peanut butter.

I go to Staples for staples.<g> Actually Bill, my wife and I are guilty of not paying much attention to prices. During the 90's we had a summer home on Cape Cod. You could hardly find a supermarket there, so our food shopping was boutique style. I reveled in that, and have barely shopped since then. The produce stand where you went into the farm out back to pick fresh herbs, the butcher shop to cut meats to order, and the fishing docks where I would buy fish right off the boats. Wellfleet oysters and small bay scallops from Rock Harbor in Orleans. Cod, lobster and sea scallops at the docks in Chatham from Nantucket Sound. We had a small stretch of private beach on which there was a breakwater of large stones. My neighbor found what we called a mussel condominium in and around the breakwater. Sautee a little shallot in olive oil, fresh herbs, some white wine, and serve over pasta with grilled bread. Mussel Beach Mangia.
