With the talent and conditioning that's out there. I believe we will see more of the same in years to come. The only thing is now. IMO pay me the money, comes first. As far as great tight ends currently. Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez have to be up there. I'm sure I missed people’s current favorites. Many of us here can think of great past tight ends since we have football seniority. IMO In today’s game, the tight end is more of a blocker and safety valve receiver than in the past.
