What demographic groups supports the GOP anymore? Outside of deep south rednecks, part of the evangelical vote, the most selfish capitalists, nature-haters and NRA nuts, you've lost just about everyone. Guiliani would make it closer in places like New York and New Hampshire but in the end he'd lose because he's with Bush-cheney and the GOP and they have failed and disgraced the nation in very criminal ways. Guiliani's closet full of scandals and personal garbage isn't even needed, but if he's nominated he'll be the easist target of negative campaigners in modern history. After all this is a guy who is proud of dressing up in drag. Has lobbied for Hugo Chavez. And his righthand men were just busted on Mafia and cocaine dealing charges Those are hard facts not smears, by the way. Also remember, Guiliani withdrew from the NY senate race rather than face Hillary. He knew he would lose by a landslide. And that was after 9-11 when his reputation was at its highest due to the myth that he "protected" us. He didn't protect diddly-squat. Just as the firefighters.
