Bush's total deficit will be around 7 trillion. Current budget estimates dont include the cost of the war and all kinds of Enron accounting is being used to kick the debt down the road. The tax cuts for the rich are having a huge staggering negative effect on our deficits. And remember Clinton delivered massive surpluses even though his tax rates were very moderate. Everyone did well under Clinton. Only the top 1% or so do well under Bush. The average US family now has negative savings. for the first time since 1939 when corporate rightwingers ushered in the Great Depression.
