F5 Networks downgraded to "hold" - update
Wedbush Morgan Securities - Tuesday, August 07, 2007 4:31:11 PM ET

NEW YORK, August 7 (newratings.com) – Analyst Rohit Chopra of Wedbush Morgan downgrades F5 Networks Inc (FFIV.NAS) from "buy" to "hold," while reducing his estimates for the company. The target price has been reduced from $95 to $80.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that through the acquisition of Acopia, the company has entered into the file area networking (FAN) market. F5 Networks expects the takeover to be dilutive to its margins in FY08 and accretive to its EPS in FY09. The company faces integration risks in the near term and is expected to witness competition from new players going ahead, the analyst says. The EPS estimate for 2008 has been reduced from $2.41 to $1.92.
