A study was done recently in which every word of a paragraph was misspelled and only the first and last letters of each word were correctly in place... they found that people were able to read that paragraph just as easily and quickly as if all the words were spelled properly... it demonstrates that we don't really look at the spelling of each word itself, just the letters at a glance to form the words in our minds...

Okay, let's do a little experiment and see if it works here... a sudty was dnoe rceltny in wihch ervey wrod of a poargarph was msipspleld and olny the frsit and lsat lteters of ecah wrod wree cecrorlty in pclae... tehy funod taht polepe wree albe to raed taht prgaraph as esaily and qikculy as if all the wrods wree sepleled porerply... it dmoentsraets taht we dno't ralely look at the sepllenig of ecah wrod istlef, jsut the ltetres at a galcne to from the wrods in our mnids...

See?
