Are there any Muslim women that go down to the beach, shrug off their burkha to reveal a string bikini?

Only the local Muslim women wear the burka, there are plenty of Muslim women that just wear head scarves, and probably lots that don't wear any head covering. Without quizzing people on the street its sort of hard to know their religion, but there are plenty of non-covered women around. Never enough, but they're here. And not many string bikinis on Muslim women, but plenty of regular bikinis on Arab-looking women. I assume they're Muslim, but who knows? If a woman has a string bikini, she's usually Russian.

Sure: Libyan women... I've been unable to Google pictures of Libyan women in bikini but if you give me your mail address, I'd be happy to send you some pics <g>

Unlike some of the Islamic countries, Libya is very relaxed in terms of dressing code for women, alcohol consumption, movement of tourists within the country, etc. The sense of security is of acceptable standards, accommodation in major cities like Tripoli and Benghazi is of high quality, with smaller places, including Ghadammes, having limited and an average quality of accommodation. Food is plenty with lots of salads and vegetables and of course meat and poultry. The best time of the year to visit is the spring and fall.
