I've been in the hospital enough to know my Docs and Nurses have always washed their hands before and after they see me...ditto with any roommates I've had. The people who don't are the people who clean the rooms...They may wear gloves, but I've not seem them change gloves each time they come and go into a room...

IMO, that's one of the biggest causes of germs being spread in the hospital.

Check it out...you'll see.

As far as food is concerned, I got Hepatitis A one time about 19 years ago this month. It evidently is rather mild, but it can kill you. The stuff I got made me sick for two weeks, and then to the hospital for another 10 days, plus home flat for several weeks. They told me later they didn't think I would live.....BUT I did....

I won't ever even eat in a restaurant of any kind unless I check the bathroom first and it's clean. If it is, then the kitchen might be....The stuff I got was either bad shellfish, or from someone not washing their hands after being in the restroom....

Beware.... I don't EVER want to be that sick again!
