The low end GPUs sell for $20 or less (they have to be this cheap if they are going into $50 cards, which include memory, thermal solutions, and ODM and retailer margins). That's assuming they get full price for them. Not sure if AMD had to bid low to get the Apple volumes....

Overall, I think ATI divisions will get a nice pop this quarter. I can't say the same for AMD's CPU divisions, though.

Thanks for your opinion. And congrats on a very well played short and stop.

I am convinced whoever has been supporting AMD share price will try to amplify the up spike that will occur when barc is finally available. I am hoping to be able to make a few bucks on that. Just for bragging rights.
