Didn't you once say your combined annual salary between John Boy and you is $35k? lol!

No, I did not ever tell you that. My husband would take serious exception to my making a comment like that if he could ever figure out how to actually read what I write in public.

I made a joke once that my nephew (who didn't have a job and lived with his mother) bought a car that was more than my after tax take home pay. The village idiot, Elroy, then decided that was enough information for him to conclude that I made 35k a year and apparently you went along for the ride.

It always amazes me just how willing people are to believe just about anything they read on the Internet. Of course what could anyone expect from a guy who wants to sign his posts with a screen name that conjures up such wonderful visuals. All I can say is, too much information.

BTW the first time my income hit 6 figures was back in '88 and Elroy was most likely still working at the job his Dad got for him at Chevron.

Hey balls
This is a very common tactic of rich business owners, take a tiny salary, charge everything else as a business expense, ie cars, office , home office etc.
The business picks up the expense while building equity.
FARK every small biz owner in the country is doing this.
Soo you slip is showing.

grace, I can't tell you how much better I feel now that good old Nellie has a hall bathroom to use. With John Boy happy with money in the bank and Nellie with her own hall bath, how could life be any better for you? Didn't you once say your combined annual salary between John Boy and you is $35k? lol!
