That's GNP by year. FDR took office in 1933. And you know that starting with WWII, our GDP took off. Starting with FDR we entered a period of unprecedented economic growth.

Because of his policies, we've never had another depression since, even though we had two before the New Deal. And unemployment and poverty have been radically lower since FDR as well. In the so called Roaring 20's the poverty rate was nearly 50%. After FDR it was down to 20%, and after Johnson it was down to about 10%.

As usual you're in a fairy tale world...
