Well, look at how much treachery has come out of the State Dept & CIA towards the Bush Admin. Keep in mind that most career bureaucrats are libs.

Just remember that the government is often the employer of last resort and that there are probably thousands of low level bureaucrat jobs technically under the umbrella of the "diplomatic service".....<g>

If either of them had any talent, they'd have stayed and risen through the ranks to a real job.
