Good piece, though very dark. He took my thoughts about Chinese control over US interest rates one step further, that if we are unwilling to bite the bullet, they'll be able to dictate terms on foreign policy, the Middle east, energy supplies, damn near anything. All for a "price break" on salad shooters! I suspect none of that is priced into markets now. To paraphrase Jim Rogers, if we plan on running Current account defictis to that degree, we'd better be teaching all our kids to speak Mandarin.<NG>
