When the Kosovo business was underway the republicans were openly critical, very, very negative on either the mission, the methodology (use of air power rather than ground forces) our partneres (NATO), etc. There is a TON of history on the web about this. Senator Lott went nuts criticizing an activist foreign policy. Clinton was roundly criticized for his mideaast efforts by the republicans. Do you truly not remember any of that???
