Intel gets far higher than $70/0.6 = $116.67 for its mobile chips. There hasn't been a price war in the notebook segment, YET! Their Centrino brand chipsets are vastly overpriced as well.

Notice that SC Yonah to DC Merom goes from $209 to $637. The new 2.5GHz Merom Extreme T7800 is $851.

Mobile Pentium Duo is just a DC Yonah with new name.

This is why comparable performance Intel based notebooks are so much more expensive than AMD based ones. That is why they are losing more notebook design wins to AMD.
