Ruiz also said his company may seek an outsider to own part of some assets. Advanced Micro is working on a strategy he has dubbed ``asset light'' to achieve a better return on its investments.

The headline is wrong (Ruiz Says Chip Delay Limits Market Share Gains).

He said the chip delay LIMITED (past tense) market share gains.

"lost [past tense] some orders by delaying a key new product"

"With the delay, Advanced Micro gave back [past tense] some of those gains," Ruiz said.
