This is yet one more thing you have wrong.

Unemployment peaked at 25% in 1933 (the year FDR took office) and went down from there. By Pearl Harbor Unemployment was under 10%.

Under FDR we had high taxes, high economic growth and high federal revenue growth. All three of those things were much higher during FDR than during Reagan for example.
