Consider if we had to depend on private enterprise to build bridges. We'd only have them where they made economic sense, with stiff tolls. Which probably wouldn't be Arkansas. Most of the bridges in Arkansas have probably been built with wealth transfer from richer states.

You've actually seen govt workers building a bridge? How old are you? Last time that happened around here was the WPA and CCC...
