Hillary is sharp but she lacks any personal warmth...Americans want to like their president as well as feel confident s/he is competent. When paired in debate with Rudy Giuliani, his self-deprecating humor would highlight her need to feel absolutely perfect at all times. That's why she tries to cover generous hips with long jackets, which only adds more bulk to the area she's trying to disguise. That's the least harmful aspect of her perfection phobia, but a practical example of her obsession with it.
