Just a quick follow-up to that unable to retain a login to SI. Most likely not an Opera browser problem. I was wondering if I included all the environments in my original post, and this exchange we had that included Rose as a poster clicked another fact knowned but not listed in that post. As most on IH know, I and Rose post from the same pc, and we always logoff the other, then logon before postsing. Rose doesn't have an SI account. I just tried that: All the following as user me (Doug) 1. I logged onto SI with the keep me logged in (all cookies accepted and not deleted later) 2. logged onto IH with the keep me logged in (all cookies accepted and not deleted later) 3. closed browser window of SI 4. closed browser window of IH 5. entered a new browser window of SI without a need to login 6. entered a new browser window of IH without a need to login 7. closed browser window of SI 8. logged out of IH 9. poof... needed to login SI now Looks like John can easily check for cookies being shared between SI & IH. Bob, Rose asked me to give to you more of the stuff that is... "Well, it's not really the kind of stuff where the members might want to weigh in, as it's more a thing of whether we'll implement those ideas or not." I'm sure you know that a woman does not like to be ignored :) ok, So I think its along the lines that she has an investment in SI and IH via ADVFN, and you being the President and CEO of USA Operations that "The Buck Stops & Goes There." She feels SI's home page has the ADVFN connection advertised quite well, but not so much on IH's home page as "Realtime Upgrade" does not explicitly mention the ADVFN connection. John did clue her in as to "mouse overs," and down at the very bottom of the page in small print. For her, not me, please view: siliconinvestor.com Also she sees more revenue for ADVFN, and thusly a bigger paycheck for its employees, if IH's FREE members profile that has the "Gift Subscription" is both echoed here along with her suggestion to allow any member type to receive any amount of cash towards their membership given by another member to acknowledge as helping them be a successful investor.
