No....in the Catholic church, it's sin, confess, get absolved...so see, no need for karma...but that's not why I don't believe. Initially, karma answered lots of questions, but after 20 years, I began to question that and came to "it's bunk" conclusion, so not a believer...take for instance the guy who's off fishing guilt-free, karma will get him? or maybe that's his good karma? ... My feeling is everyone thinks he or she is right, so if that person does something that offends me, for instance, should I hope karma gets him/her? No because then I'm being judgmental and mean-spirited...What goes around comes around...not necessarily. I've seen the biggest creeps ever walk all over others, and even me once, and get away with lying, stealing, cheating with impunity...Caveat emptor is my motto now...trust everyone, but cut the cards is another one. And it took me a long time being really, really good and very kind and generous to learn that being good has to be its own reward, because it's a thankless job.
