Part of the folklore is that one precedes/leads the other..the metal or stocks..can't remember which...Any thoughts ??....assuming this makes any sense..

POG is showing basically a very similar formation, except that it is suspiciously "wedging" up... LOL. Anyway, it will tip its hand very shortly.

HUI/XAU...PS..FWIW I have been relatively bullish recently based on some simple TA considerations...new rally highs in July over the Apr highs...rising MAs, with the 50d above the 200d...relatively strong support at the MAs over the past week.....holding generally above the 50dMA last week..

Would want to see break of DT lines from Jul highs for confirmation that uptrend from Jun may resume..

GLD...basically same view..except that GLD has not made a new high over Spr..

have to say i concur: think one more grand low waits in gold and shares however I do think a lot of folks are in that camp...
breaking up out of that wedge would be bullish no?
