Very interesting, thanks. Suggests a trade of selling calls on SP and using proceeds to buy calls on Gold. This might be a little too aggressive -- but for those who are still LONG the stock market the risk might be limited, since the sold SP calls would be de facto covered. In addition, spending some money on SP puts would convert a scary naked long posture into a low risk /slash/ good potential reward situation. ...Either this was a good idea, or my morning coffee was too strong... -g
