Oh, Steve, think positively. You'll be making so much money by the time you are ready to retire, you'll have made great investments with your money, and will still get SS.... IF you can get Congress to put a halt on the massive cost of living increases, AND stop them giving SS to every immigrant and refugee who comes into this country and is not a citizen...you will. Have you ever looked to see what the numbers look like by the time you retire? And have you ever asked yourself what those of us who have paid into the system since we started working at 16 years old (but that money didn't count, until we were 21) thought about that money being just taken? Plus the huge increases we've had to endure for all of our working years? First, you've got to stop the Congress from doing those things.
