You're blaming 10% of the democrats, the most conservative ones from the red states who represent constuencies which are not totally against Bush-Cheney and/or very pro military. 90% of democrats are totally united in doing whatever is necessary to end the Iraq debacle and to impeach Cheney-Bush. However, it is not so easy especially when the GOP can filibuster and block any vote. Pelosi and Reid can't even dictate those things. They need help from the moderates of both parties. What we need is an obvious crime like Watergate which makes it crystal clear Bush-Cheney are criminals even to the uneducated average Joe. Then we need a super majority after 2008, so future Bushie policies will be stopped and reversed even if there is a GOP president. Not all democrats are liberal or right about Iraq. Just look at Joe Lieberman. But there are very few who are wrong. Unfortunately those few can often be the swing votes. Same as in the general election. A few conservative soccer moms can decide who's president.
