These may be good trades. But I see production rising, LNG imports rising and expected to rise further, Independence, REX, and the Fall shoulder season arriving soon. PTEN's fortunes are weakening while activity levels are increasing, rig efficiencies improve and ng fundamentals grow more unstable. When the bust comes and PTEN buys out the competition that is presently weighing on their markets maybe then it will be a good bet. Right now certain E&P's are better promises as the value of their reserves can only go up with time. Land RIGs are easy to produce, but there is only so much O&G available. rrc.state.tx.us
