I think Prechter is a great analyst and an incredibly insightful guy. However, IMO, he made the mistake of placing too much faith into his long term counts. Those counts are like... giving detailed predictions about global warming, or something like that (g/ng). They are huge historic processes, with too many variables.

I used to be a subscriber, but gave it up some years ago. Thinking, actually, of renewing.

Re: the war. You are right - but it is also true that the wars of the past few years are limited, for the most part they take place far away - and there is an enormous amount of scepticism in our society with regard to those recent wars. I am not voicing an opinion here, just making a sentiment observation. I am afraid that at this time a major attack - a dirty bomb or some other ch*t like that - may become a history changing event. A "wave of recognition" of sorts. I hope this never happens, of course.
