Seven years later and Nasdaq had recouped about half of its losses.
Can we use that as a basic model for RE? My guess is due to its more tangible and more broadly exposed nature, it will take at least twice that long. Let's look at 2020 before RE returns to bubble area prices. I hope I don't have LIG pulling up this post in 2021 to prove me wrong.

I haven't begun to see even the first glimmers of dislike for real estate yet, let alone hate.

But I've seen a lot of anxiety and duress among those with large negative carry on homes that didn't flip in time. They're convinced that home prices will head back up next year. That's when we'll start to see disillusionment and hate.
