2007: 85 million CPU in house + ~15 million CPU @ Chartered
2006: 55 million CPU in house + ~10 million CPU @ Chartered

That's up 50% from 2006 due to the 65nm conversion. See sheet
12 here from the Technical Analyst day two weeks ago:

60% yield (130 KGDs) initially, improving linearly to 80% yield at the end of 16 weeks.

Completely bogus numbers, not in line with AMD's stated defect density for Barcelona on 65nm, 300mm wafers.

Off by a FACTOR of 2 to 3.

Pirasa, > Sep 10 is when Barc comes out. Shipments will follow immediately. That means Barc wafers started at around 6/10.

Suit yourself. AMD has a long track record of paper launches, yet you're giving AMD the benefit of the doubt with the Barcelona launch.

Hector said it himself. Barcelona won't have a material impact on earnings until next year. It's likely that AMD is only going to "launch" Barcelona for PR. Which is what I would do if I were in Hector's shoes and Barcelona couldn't meet my wildly compressed schedules.

So I'll just say it myself. "That can't be doable. Neener neener neener. IWIN!"
