its an embarrassment to the political system. The straw poll vote i thought were selected republicans from various groups that represent the thought of the group of republicans. certainly mccain and rudy and thompson have enough combined experience to gather more than 500 votes. Perhaps the purpose is get money into Iowa, not to be a leader in determining the direction for republican party. Rather get as much of the pie of dollars available in campaigns. If you do not spend money in Iowa we will punish you in the straw vote. imo you can put it in the bottom of the barrel and let's move forward. this vote doesn't tell us anything.
