OT, but not Bush was the brain dead puppet of Rove. In 2000, Bush had the name and no worthy opponent. When in doubt, take the familiar path. In 2004, Bush had a fear on his side. He's nothing without a puppetmaster and slick propoganda.

He suggests that we are primarily wired to eat, flee, and reproduce. Often in the markets the flee program is played while you are telling yourself that you are being perfectly rational. You are running and you don't even know it. That may explain in part why sell-offs are so violent and bulls take so relatively long to build up.
