Paulson and Paulson.

I think that besides the Fed giving liquidity, Fannie Mae and F. Mac should increase new loans, and quicly, I think the Sec. Paulson and the Fed. should act to prevent such problems that we see now, before we think this could happen. Unfortunately, the company Paulson (New York) saw correctly what was coming but the Sec. Paulson didn't. Please look this site:

True, as the other poster said, thats the short term fix.

But it is pretty clear that you can not remove the stimulus at once, otherwise the patient would likely die on the spot.

Begs the question how the long term excesses can be undone safely..
