I do my roasts that way in my crockpot, but I also add a bay leaf and a can of beef consomme along with the rest. I am going to cheat tonight and do a Morton's Tri Tip (already cooked) roast. I have lots of veggies from the garden, so will stir fry them too.

Have a very busy day ahead and don't have a roast in the house other than the Morton's.

Would love some of those home made biscuits my ggrandmother used to make. She was a fabulous cook.
