Sam Adams = greedy profiteer? General Chen's Grandpa was temporary acting emporer of China for a time - put that in your hat for a moment and realize Chen probably has big connections in China politics. He associates himself with Mr. Trotsky - another person with strong beliefs about certain political ideas. Chen lives in a part of the world that is filled with turmoil and chaos. I remember the former chinese president saying on TV you can't imagine what it is like trying to control 1 billion people that mistrust each other. This may color chen's view on the world as one in constant flux without security - but then you take a silicon valley engineer who shops at whole foods market who has never even mumbled a cuss word that has a totally different view of the world. He sees peace and harmony where chen sees chaos and strife. I can see where it would be beneficial to Chen and friends to kick in the nuts the current power structures around the globe so that he may be able to increase his and his cronies power. He degrades japanese people because they sniff panties (I do it all the time) and tries to sell people on the gold meme so that he can profit. (not because burying gold in the backyard will make their life better - like say - life extension drugs would) Chen hoards gold and trades currencies and shorts GOOG (guilty myself) - but what does General Chen do that helps to further research for cancer medicines and biotech? The stuff that is REALLY important? Perhaps he feels this will help him achieve his political goals as well - downfall of USA and rise of China. Chen seems bitter about puppet gubbments installed by USA in various parts of the world and comes down very hard on stratfor intelligence always demeaning them as imbeciles. Economic Hit Man perkins says the USA has done bad things with our empire expanding but that can be turned around and we can turn the evil to good and bring peace and harmony to the globe through the empire - but if we crush and disperse the empire all that will be left is a power vacuum resulting in mass global war - I do not know which future is coming. I do know we had a big period called the DARK AGES after some other empire withered in history - I would rather not see a repeat of that. He will not get his friend WANG (who is some merle hazard tenneesse boy type) to have a jerry maguire moment and bring empty houses and homeless people together - therefore in my mind although General Chen may use the term "biblical" very often he is not a believer in the tenents of the bible - peace, love, forgiveness, harmony - etc etc - At his core he is just another greedy capitalist that will kill everyone on the globe if it ensures the protection of his and Wangs property rights. Of course Chen may donate his time and money to various charities for the poor and needy all the time - I could be wrong and hopefully he will correct me if I am. The american republic survived those trying times in the 1700's and chen disregards your posting as Rubbish - but I remember seeing an article where Saddamn had billions of counterfeit US dollars in his palace no? (we sure stuck it to the native american indians back in the day though didn't we?) I don't trust Chen, I don't think he gives a damn about the little guy in the USA or most other parts of the world either. Perhaps he does and he thinks the downfall of USA and her global influence will be the best thing for the little guy. I had a friend in croatia, his dad loved the bosnian war, he was a gun smuggler that supplied both sides with arms. His son (my friend) abhorred what his father did and after he used daddy for college money he didn't talk to the man again. So the evil can skip generations, I remember watching star wars and at the end Darth Vader tried to do some good in his life. To be objetive though and not just pick on Chen. I have read Sam Adams and company were also greedy guys and the stuff they did to king george and friends was more about getting rich than really caring about the little guy. I saw this movie called THE POSTMAN once, and the evil dude in that movie was a office copier salesman before the big war - but after the big war he was the king of the tribe of 8. You got to watch out for little guys like that - they are dangerous. My grandpappy told me give a little man a little power and sometimes you get a big problem. Hoarding gold will not change the failing I see in the USA or other parts of the globe - turning off merv griffins "wheel of fortune" and educating oneself with that time to expand the arts and culture of our society, making more technological innovations and science progress. Its a big universe out there and there is still a lot we don't know - who said we have time to sit down and watch mindless YOUTUBE videos, DEAL or no DEAL, or bury gold in da backyard? I am taking college courses furthering my biology knowledge - I think that is a better use of time than hoarding gold or trading currencies.
