If Canuckistan wants to swim with the big dawgs, they need to upgrade their navy. Yes, I suppose so in today's world. However, imo, if it gets to the point that we need warships and aggression to stake our claims for natural resources (and I'm not just talking about Canada) I think we've lost a much larger war... the one to remain a supposedly civilized species sharing the resources of a planet with our fellow men without resorting to bombing each other. Of course, I have had little hope of that for quite some time. I'd rather that Canadians work on alternative energy sources, than depend on drilling the hell out of the Arctic. It would be much better for maintaining peace, independence, and avoiding environmental destruction. ~croc
