As I understand it, Cheney has complied with existing law and is giving the profits away without taking benefit of using charitable contribution deduction. So at first glance to me, this is a non-issue. I guess he didnt want to cash out upon taking office because of tax consequences of doing so at that time. As for Tiger, and average temps of 100 degrees that was quite something yesterday. Fended off all challenges and then sunk that key putt to put it away.
