"Market feels like it wants to dump hard?" It does? It's incredible how resilient this market is. The gloom was exceptionally bad last week when several here posted the opportunities in the short funds. Hope they covered. IMO the current crises is way overblown unless you own financial stocks. And no, I don't believe in the conspiracies or that the plunge protection team is propping up the markets. I am being cautious though and raising some cash (sold more BQI this morning at $5.40) but not throwing away any quality energy company stocks. When the lights are going out in the 2nd and 3rd world due to energy shortages, now is not the time sell.
