Over the weekend, I had Whataburger's new Ranch House Burger that they've been advertising ... "100% pure American beef with bacon, cheese, crispy fried onions and a 3-pepper ranch sauce" ... a pretty good burger. I first began enjoying Whataburgers in the '50s when they were 35 cents at one of their original stands in South Texas.

I do not like fast food, but I gave in after years of resisting Whataburger and tried the grilled chicken sandwich. It was really good, so you can order healthy food at a fast food place.

And you probably realize that 7 - Eleven has a variety of sandwiches and fruit, so more healthy choices!
