We are given our names a birth..we don't get to choose. But most people respect their parents and keep their names as a sign of respect. That fact that a name is arabic or farsi has nothing to do with one's religious belief any more than one's father's religion.

Why do you continue to make excuses for the obvious?

The plain fact of life is that his name is arabic, barak means blessed in arabic and husein is obviously also arabic.

Then I suggest you read my previous sentence a few more times. Or maybe you're looking for something here that isn't here in the first place, I'm not connecting one's name to one's religion, your wife beating example is inappropriate and doesn't even apply here. I'm simply making one very elementary point, don't try to complicate it with elaborate excuses or apologies, no need to do that. Here's the WHOLE point again, and I'll put it in bold letters for you, his name is arabic.
