You could be right...but I'm afriad that as soon as I short, the rate cut comes through and we rally.

Maybe I should make the sacrifice...for the greater good...(:

Question for everyone-- what is the best, as in, most bang for one's buck, vehicle to short right now? XLF? The mortgage ETF, whatever that is? PAYX? What is a weak stock in a weak sector, bloated, and overpriced, with a specific near-term catalyst that could send it falling? As in, 20 points or more?

(I've just framed the opposite of the questions I usually ask myself, LOL!)

I would be comfortable buying puts on QCOM if it climbs a bit higher. I used to trade it from the long side and I know it pretty well. But now it's just in the middle of its range...
