"Rudy has a lot of 'splaining to do re his support of NYC as a sanctuary city" If you mean during the time he was mayor of nyc i think he did explain it. he was running a city not a nation, and a city that is mostly democrat, extremely liberal, and most likely you move to the left in your campaign if you ever want to get elected in nyc. I would compare it to Senators in the Northeast and mid atlantic who never supported ethanol gov supports... until they decided it was time to run a national campaign. All of a sudden ethanol supports were a great idea and they were behind them 100% politics. who would have thought Bush would be the largest spender of gov money, expand soc sec to drug payments, pass largest support farm bills , when running.
