Sounds like many worthy projects all at the same time going on....and if you can make "stuff" to get all the wires into one nice neat tidy bundle by the computer and color coded or something else easy to figure out, patent it...you'll make a kazillion dollars from all of us who don't know, and don't want to know where every thing is....we just want it to work and not look like, as you say, a rats nest.... Sounds like you are having some wonderful family time as well! Happy rest of the summer....
