Peter, have you read Bernie Goldbergs book "Crazies to the Left Wimps to the Right"? The very best critics of the left come from people that used to be the left..... He touches on the point you're making. 110 People Screwing up America was pretty good too although I disagreed with some that he ranked.... I thought Jonathan Kozol should be #1 screwer being that he influences more because of his medium, (teachers text books). Single handedly IMO he's responsible for the current state of our teenagers and young adults.
