Or would you prefer skilled warriors and masterful teachers who speak the local language fluently, and know and conform to the local customs in detail - a la SF teams? You go with the teachers you got, UW. Our supply of Iraqi-speaking Soldiers of ANY stripe is very limited. Then you have to decide if you want the best ones as Battalion adviser's or leading SF combat teams. We have a very limited choice. We have the same problem all over the world. Not enough Foreign Language speakers in the DOD. And then dividing them up.
