I think it is way too early. It is one thing that CBs provide liquidity to prevent unnecessary delivery failures. But it is the other wrong thing that commercial bank who normally always know better begin with faith healing... that is what they do. Faith cure. Pretty obvious after you consider that "our" problem is also their problem. Except size, where's the difference between American Home Mortgage and finally GS, LEH, BSC? No difference as we already know, mortgage paper is handed around like a hot potato.
